About Me
My Story
My therapeutic style is present, direct, empathic and relational. I will bring my full self into our sessions including my sense of humor, when appropriate.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I am an award-winning documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. I believe both of my careers positively impact the other, making me both a better artist and therapist.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Journalism at Northwestern University (2012), where I also double majored in African American Studies. I received my Masters in Counseling from California State University East Bay (2022). I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #137655) working under the supervision of Stephen Trichter (PSY #22166).
